Their coverage highlights the complaint filed by Alex Berke on May 2, underscoring the treatment Ms. Hope suffered while at Amazon and how it reflects the treatment other Amazon workers have faced while trying to take leave or receive reasonable accommodations from the company.

New York State Human Rights Law Invoked in Sexual Harassment Arbitration Case

This contradicts an earlier ruling in New York’s Southern District where a judge ruled that arbitration under the Federal Arbitration Act (FAA) supersedes New York’s statutory prohibition against arbitration.
